It's always summer when you have an indoor hammock.

Go For the Gold

It's amazing what a touch of gold can do. Beware though...use too much and your house will end up looking like an old English palace and/or a Christmas explosion. Unless that's what you're looking for, in which case, gild-away!

If you want to incorporate gold into your room, but are scared of overpowering it, start slow. Hang a gold picture frame on the wall, show off a cool gold lamp, or even just display a set of chic gold candlestick holders. It's better to build gold into the room, as opposed to starting with gold and attempting to off-set it with other colors or tints.

Struggling to find that perfect gold piece? DIY! Gold paint is cheap, so buy some and get creative--paint an old nightstand or the legs of a boring chair.

Funky and classy, gold makes a killer statement--so try it out!

Dining in Style

I'm in super procrastination mode. Although by all accounts I should be working, I find myself playing around on Pinterest--the best/worst time-suck known to man. And from there, I realize that my "Dining" board is severely lacking in stunning designs (first world problems, am I right?)

So, I could go back to being productive...but instead I will show you these fabulous dining spaces I found to remedy my issue.

Nooks & Books

There's something about a reading nook that just brings insta-cozyness to your home. So grab a blanket (or, if you live in Miami like me, perhaps a block of ice to cool you down) and a good book, and curl up for these ultra comfy spaces.
