Loving Chartreuse!

Chartreuse -- which is halfway between yellow and green -- is one of those colors that can totally brighten a room without overpowering it. It's subdued enough to be elegant, but flashy enough to add some spark. Basically, it's pretty great.

O.M.G[litter].

I have a serious obsession with glitter. I mean, how is it possible that anybody can look at sparkly things and then not want to just go frolic through a field of glittery-goodness?

Obsess with me.

Mirror, Mirror

I love some well-thought-out mirror-usage. (And no, mirrored ceilings are not what I have in mind).

Papered

I'm usually not a huge fan of wallpaper. I think it has a tendency to feel dated, and in many instances, kind of tacky. However, when done right, wallpaper can be a super easy way to add flair and personality to a room (and there's always the less aggressive and easier to work with little sister of wallpaper: the wall decal).

If you're going to use wallpaper, don't just pick out the first pretty print you find. Always keep in mind the space you're working with - its size, the amount of natural light, and any furnishings you already have for it. The wallpaper should compliment the room, not eat it up.

Here are some beautiful examples of wallpapering done right:
